WHAT’S GOING ON AT EPIC THEATRE?

The past four weeks have been jam-packed with a variety of workshops exploring comedy, circus, theatre sports, Japanese theatre and script work.  Theatre sports were an excellent way to kick off the series of workshops with various members of the crew pushing personal comfort zones.  Whilst the crew looked at some well known stand up comedians, the first week proved to be the most entertaining with playing the Big Booty game... quite loudly.   We concluded the EPIC Theatre program with an exploration of the plays Away and Waiting For Godot which was challenging but exciting since all of the crew proved to be quite talented actors.  The EPIC crew has truly been open to new forms and ways of expressing themselves which has been really rewarding.

Get involved and become a member of the EPIC Crew... it is run by young people for young people! Build confidence, learn skills, share REAL stories, explore REAL issues and perform REAL theatre in your community. Come along, get inspired and have some REAL fun! Stay tuned for more info on the next upcoming project!
